Patricia Hein Bio

Patricia is an incoming Assistant Professor in Sustainability at the Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada, and a Ph.D. Candidate at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, Germany. She also holds an MPhil in Innovation, Strategy, and Organization from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Groningen, Netherlands. Her research examines processes of how organizations perpetuate inequalities but also how they work to bring about societal change. Her research was published in the Academy of Management Journal, and she has won numerous awards.

Prior to joining academia, Patricia worked in the asset management industry for more than a decade. Most recently, she was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs advising clients, such as family offices, asset allocators, and private banks, on various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, cash, and alternatives.
