Rita Kakati Shah Bio

Rita Kakati-Shah is an award-winning corporate and career strategist, mentor, speaker, author, and advisor. She is Founder and CEO of Uma, empowering confidence, success and resilience in women and minorities. Rita began her professional career at Goldman Sachs in London, where she was awarded the prestigious Excellence in Citizenship and Diversity Award. She is also a Distinguished Alumna of King’s College London and serves on the Advisory Council of King’s Business School. Rita is an honoree of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from US President Joe Biden, as well as several international accolades in recognition for advancing gender equality, diversity and inclusion, entrepreneurship, and empowering women and girls. She holds a Doctorate of Humanities (honoris causa) from the Commonwealth University and is also the bestselling author of “The Goddess of Go-Getting: Your Guide to Confidence, Leadership, and Workplace Success.”
