Patricia Gabaldon Bio

Patricia Gabaldón, PhD in Economics, is currently Associate Professor of Economics and Director of the Bachelor in Economics at IE University. She has developed her research career around the role of women in the economy and the economic and social impact of time uses and expenditure in households. Her research interests move from female entrepreneurs to women leaders, and the importance of gender equality and diversity on top leadership positions. Patricia is a graduate in Economics of the University of Alcala (Spain), from where she received also her PhD in Economics. Besides her collaboration with companies and multilateral institutions, she regularly publishes research in specialized journals and articles in press.
